What our shareholders tell us...
"I am absolutely honest when I say we LOVE all your vegetables. Every week getting to see what is in the
crate is like Christmas morning, and, if my husband is home when I return with the veggies, he will be
running to the door to see what we got. ;-) Everything is so fresh and tasty, and we love having to
figure out what to make of your selection (your suggestions on the newsletter are appreciated, too).
As a result, we have tried new things (I never made spaghetti squash before and it was beyond delicious)
and made some dishes that we had not prepared in a long time (spinach dumplings). I also love that my boys
(2 and 4) have a chance to try different farm-fresh vegetables, and I am sure we will come visit your
farm one of these days to see how they are grown."

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for Farmer Bob and all of his time and generosity this morning!
Our girls had the best time at the farm today. Bob was so kind as to let them see the chickens 3 times,
plant the pumpkins, take kernels off the cob, pop the corn and wrangle more chickens! Thank you!" -Tina B-"I am delighted with my box and the berries are so good they are just about gone the same day I received them. My mother who is 92 loves to get the box too. She goes through and looks at everything and then helps to clean and put it in the fridge. She uses the green bags for the lettuce as it helps keep longer in the refridge. I am loving this and enjoy eating fresh healthy foods. Thank you." -Mary E.-
"Hi Diana: I am really looking forward to Tuesdays these days!!!! The folks at Artesian are wonderful, warm and friendly. I have to say I am so happy I made the choice to join this group. I made salad last night with the red and green lettuce and the spring onions, added tomatoes from the market (I cannot wait until Tomatoes come in our boxes) and made a fresh tarragon vinegrette. It was amazing. I have also learned that I absolutely love Kale and Chard!! I didn't know that beets and carrots came in all different colors!!! Haven't tried the ones from yesterday yet, but I loved the candy cane (my name) beets with the red and white stripes we got a couple weeks ago!! Thanks so much. I know these veggies do not come to us without a huge amount of effort on your part." -Cathy W.-
"I just wanted to thank you for my vegetables! We have been loving them so much! Today was a great
food day at my house ;-). It started with my yummy tomato and red onion sandwich for lunch and then I
made this dinner which pretty much all came from your farm...I had never had the squash blossoms before
and they were to die for! Of course being fried, that didn't hurt at all, LOL. My kids actually fought
over the last one. ;-) I didn't have all the ingredients on your newsletter for the batter so I made my
own with flour, baking soda, corn starch, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, water and chicken broth. I kept
adding water and broth until it was a very thin batter. I then pan-fried them in canola oil,
(not deep fried) and turned them once and voila!" -Julie W.-
"A really tasty and suprise veggie change: roast cubed butternut squash with some olive oil and fresh
thyme.....then toss with crumbled roquefort or blue cheese and toasted pecans! I served this along with
some Israeli couscous seasoned with citrus, cinnamon, currents, and a tad "heat"...and grilled fresh
tuna...yum what a combo!! I was going to make butternut squash soup as a starter...but decided to change
at the last minute...glad I did." -Ruth M-
"We ate carrots, watermelon and salad for lunch on Saturday - the kids thought we were NUTS but it was
just so good and so fresh! The taste was just so incredibly great. Seriously - the BEST melon and
carrots I've ever, EVER had. Tonight, we're dining on the squash, the corn and a big salad. Onions on
the side since my hubby doesn't care for them. The veggies are great! Thanks so much to you and your
husband for bringing us such a wonderful variety and such an amazing 'service'. I love it!!"
-Mindy M.-"Last summer Farmer Bob delivered fresh vegetables to our home and life hasn't been the same since. The carrots were the BEST and sweetest ever: the variety of tomatoes was astonishing and delicious; the lettuce, peppers, potatoes, and squash were worth every penny spent. The best veggies we ever had, have been from Fresh Edibles and we can't wait for the next season." -Theresa C.-
"I LOVE my farm fresh produce. It is so fresh that it is still infused with sunshine and earth. I've had the privilege to pick my own produce from the Fresh Edibles Farm and see first hand the care and love that goes into each row! The heirloom tomatoes are incredible and the variety amazing. I'M ADDICTED. Each box of produce from the Fresh Edible Farm gets me excited to eat well, cook fresh, and live healthy. I cannot bear to buy produce from the supermarket as the taste is lacking, the toxins are high, and I know the travel time it took from farm to market. Fresh Edibles, don't ever leave me!" -Annie S.-
